All good bro. I can see where things have become a lil confused. I actually wasn't refferring to Windthrown as a Nutjob lol, but from reading his posts the people whom he feels obligated to needing guns for personal safety.

Sorry for the confusion, maybe my post was too general.
Of course Scott's a nutjob; he's hanging out online with us convicts and sheep shaggers. I can vouch for him being one of the best American nutjobs I've ever had any dealings with.

whats the dribblers expert opinion on these ....2004 Winchester M70 Coyote Varmint, Stainless barrel, Blued Action, push feed CRPF , laminated stock, floor plate etc

Made in the New Haven Plant USA before it closed in 2006, after 140 years of production...

I can get one that's near new with scope ,thats had around 200 rounds threw it... not a mark on it . for a grand .

this is the exactly same rifle, tho its in the brown laminated stock ,the one i'm looking at is in the pepper grey laminated stock other wise identical

I like the model 70's and from memory the Coyote Varmint was similar to the Stealth which was Winchester's answer to Remington's Sendero. Nice guns and had a good reputation. Accurate too. Haven't seen many around though and I don't think they were that popular - why I don't know. I own a model 70 in .22/250 Ackley and it has a nice trigger, nice fit and finish, and a bloody smooth action that feeds and ejects well.

So my 1911 and 375 Mag are not a *real* guns? And you will survive two controlled rounds to the chest and one in the head?

Interesting...

windthrown the biggest prob here is that all the different groups are against each other.you know the handgunners say that don't affect me so i don't care and the same for the shot guners and the rifleman and the same with all the different hunting organizations last count i found 4 different deer hunting mobs and they are all at one another's throats to try and better there organizations.

it is a disgrace and the reason we will eventually lose the lot . united we stand divided we fall .

Ah Window Washer you'd better buy a glass display case for that 090 hate to see it gather dust and cobwebs it's OK I already have one for my BP-1's that's the glass case of cause.

Great pic Bennn*e, go the old 90.
Like the bar, a bit of overkill but hey it looks great.
I hate falling dead trees like that one tho, those limbs can start falling the second the tree moves.
Guessing that tree was felled green and left.

Nope. I felled it when it was dead and will get around to milling it some stage.
I was looking up. Lots. Then got attacked by a swarm of Bees that were living in it.

I did one like that last winter and it was chocked full of bees had to leave most of it I got sick of the stings

I swear I hit 40kph running away from the little bastards. Video evidence showed a top speed of maybe 8-10kph. The bees didn't even sting me as they were laughing too much.

Did you fall it with that saw,,,,, no you did not but I bet you would of liked to....
Good job.

Over my time in high production crews, we learned the hard way, a second after you stop looking something can happen.
I have been to 5 funerals who were top class production fallers, 4 killed by falling limbs, 1 by a tree head itself. All on the north coast in coastal black butt. The last guy will have a question asked in which I am not about to go into on an open forum, it was a tragedy.

I felled it with the 7900 and a 32" bar which only just met in the middle. I nearly got nailed with a dead Cottonwood branch near 6 years ago now and that wisened me up considerably.
Looking up is something I always have to think about as its easy to start concentrating on lining cuts up on larger trees and forget the safety aspects.
