That is a bloody good price for a rifle like that! I think they may have also been available in .300 Win Mag as well from memory.

maybe the older stealth's where in other calibers , I'm trying to find out whats what by downloading all there catalogs ,the 2013/14 Winchester Australia products catalog has the Stealth in it but only in .308w but then its not in the 2014 Winchester Repeating arms catalog, it might be in the 2013 repeating arms catalog that's still downloading ? .....I know the stealth was first around in 2003-06 but they where the CRPF (control round Push feed) actions ..... the newer stealth has the pre 64 CRF (Big Claw extractor) action like the original 70's (rifle mans rifle)

The Stealth 2 came in a whole heap of calibres including Winchester's Short Magnums plus .223, .22/250 etc.
I think the CRF was an option at one stage. You could get both for a limited time too I think. I always liked those things from the second they were released.

matt how does yours shoot and what call

Mine isn't standard. It was originally a blued sporter in .22/250 and I bought it for $350 with a badly pitted bore. Funny thing was that it still grouped around an inch at 100m so I shot it like that for a few years. I ended up putting a sporter weight 1:12 Kreiger barrel on it at 27" in .22/250 40° Ackley. It has a match chamber etc and an extremely long throat which is a pain because even with 55gn B-Tips I can only just make the lands.
It is accurate though and will shoot 1/2 MOA all day long. I've done a bit of load development on it in the last 3 odd months and have found it still shoots well even a fair way off the lands. With 40 grains of AR2208 it is cracking 4000fps with a 50gn Z-Max. I can wind it up even more and this is a pretty mild load.
The only problem with the Ackley is that the cases are a fair bit fatter and won't run through the standard mag. Therefore it's only a 2 shot with one up the spout. A decent gunsmith could fix it but I'm happy with 2 shots as I normally just sit back and pop rabbits with it. With standard cases it holds 5.
I should have got it in a 1:9 twist too so I can run heavier projectiles.

Any of you blokes had anything to do with the cheep assed post hole diggers on fleebay around the 70cc class.
POSTHOLE-BORER-with-AUGER-BIT-bd52-/221159691301?pt=AU_Business_Industrial_Farming_Agriculture_Farming_Agriculture_Equipment&hash=item337e251425
its not 70cc and no where near being a still unit but it goes good for what I needed it for and haven't had to do anything to it yet,the augers are cheap and it shows ,after digging about 30 holes its started to not dig,it needs some work done to the cutting edge ,200 bucks suits me

Both look expensive to run.

Yea and every bloke would want to drive both.

Watching ''Lone Survivor'' on my PC, not a bad movie based on a true story from last year, worth looking at if you like modern war movies.
It shows how quick things can go from bad to oh my god in no time at all.

Fair amount of scenes in there added for dramatic effect but it is a good movie. The initial shootout in the woods is a cracker.
One of the better war movies I've seen.

Well that's what happens when your recon goes all horribly wrong and ya ass is left swinging in the breeze our mustering flew with RAAF 9 Sqn as Door-gunners dragging out their sorry ***** which if left where the were would have been hastly turned into chop sueie many of my mate's got hurt and killed on those extractions the SAS is suppose to see and report and not be seen.
