Interestingly, I never really liked beer. But, for the heck of it, I bought a six pack of Corona's the other night, and I actually liked it pretty well. :)

You boys have you Google Earth set a little too far north in Manitoba, your in the artic tundra LOL. If I was told to cut that you would see my foremen tarred and feathered to one of those shrubs.
I was back at the " best chain for 346XP" thread and none of you PNW boys answered my invite in my #57 post. Yeah 3 mths might be a little long ,don't want any tropical westcoaster dying on us of pneumonia, so how about only 1 mth.
I was talking to Franz this morning and I tried to get him interested in joining this site. But he says he never owned a computer and he doesn't plan on to. I told him about the invite and he says to me "are you crazy we might get a whole caravan of them coming up here, because of the way the American economy has turned to sh*t." I just said back "no worrys as soon as they approach 30 below and a foot of snow they'll high tail it back".

Haaar. You need to study your geography. Some of us PNWers have bounced back and forth over the mountains. Some of us grew up on the "other" side. Which is a mere hour drive away. We know all about approaching -30, that would be in farenheit, and being out in it. We are versatile, and with proper clothing, can handle both the wet and the cold and walk uphill both ways in it. It may not get cold here, but we can sure get the snow. Got any avalanches up der in Mannitoobia?

Now, I'll need to switch to the earplugs made for wet conditions. The whining changes with the seasons. Tomorrow, if I don't wear the rock filtering ones, I'll be hearing, "You Need To Have Somebody Else Rock All Our Roads For Us So We Don't Have To Pay For It Or Push The Trucks Out With Our Equipment. "

I'm thinking a hard sharp cheddar will go well with that whine. :)

:hmm3grin2orange: Makes sense to me. Help those guys out a little, will ya? Loosen up those purse strings and make sure they have some decent roads. Maybe if you weren't buying all those new pickups you could afford some rock.

I know the USFS doesn't care if we tear up our equipment on their substandard roads and it doesn't cost them a dime if some log truck goes over the side on some piece of muddy outslope that should have been fixed. Maybe they should rethink their attitude. But I'm not holding my breath waiting for that.
