King of Beers, 12 oz can of Cold Budweiser.

Hi,

seriously people, how can any clear thinking person claim that an American beer can even come within a 100 miles of the title "King of beers"?

Buds is wierd, they make it out of wheat and swamp water dont they? :greenchainsaw:

Good saw, weak beer, mocked everywhere, and you guys actually have light beer, Christ, it couldn't get any lighter. I drank it, lived on the border, cheap, other than that, a pale imitation, why does the most powerfull nation have the weakest beer, WTF?

That used to be true, Clearance. So true, that I wrote a paper about it in college. We do have good beer down here though, only most people don't drink it. Nor do we share it with grumpy Canucks or Aussies.

Try some Sierra Nevada Pale Ale next time you are stateside. Pretty widely distributed, out of California. If you are in the Midwest, Summit Extra Pale Ale out of St Paul, Minnesota, or Boulevard Pale Ale out of Kansas City. They would change your mind about "weak" US beer.

Of all the colonies, the US lost her way in the world of beer, but she recovered, and we actually have some good stuff here now. 20 years ago, it truly sucked. Had to drink imports, and the selection at most liquor stores was pretty weak. If I could get Bass, Harp, Labatts, or Molson, I was doing good.

THE SAME WAY SOME PEOPLE THINK THAT AN 066 IS THE KING OF SAWS.
By getting programed to think so. BAhahahahahaha

Mark, you ever get east of pittsburg, Try some Yuengling. Good american beer. Oldest brewery in the US, too. Most people I know don't like it cause it is darker than most of our "normal" beers. They don't distribute it west of Pittsburg, though. Every time I'm out that way, I always stop an get a couple cases to bring back with me.

So what is your propsed king of saws? Don't tell me the 2171 as it doesn't compare to the 066 in bigger wood.

Were waiting....

Hi all, just felt I had to keep up the momentum, theres loads of small independent brewery's over this side of the pond, that produce great beer.

Sorry lads but most US beer is mass produced coloured water. :sword:

Heres a link . http://www.camra.org.uk/home.aspx

HA! Not around here. Microbreweries abound...

Warm beer sucks. At least our beer is chilled... I learnt quickly that "gravity fed" beer in England meant the hogshead was up in the pub ceiling at a toasty 70 degrees. Nice slimy taste.
