If you don't get the sprocket from JJ
I know where there is a bunch of new 8 point 404 sprockets.
I bought 5 of them. All the Mac geardrives from the 33 to the 895 have the
same size shaft, I did some checking.

I can give him the 1/2" spur if you want to hook him up with the .404"?

I was going to ask 10 Bazillion Million dollars but decided free might be better.

Sprockets!

I can use a .404 and a 1/2"

Aaron, how bad do you want a 2to1?

You have a spare 2to1 650/660 gearbox or gearset Randy? You're tempting me with yet more and more McStuff. I know what you're after.:D

What ratio are you going to run on the 'project saw'? I've got my own McGeardrive project in mind. Looking for a cheap 640 or other McCulloch large frame gear drive carcass (preferably 2to1) to swap a spare 103cc McEngine into (to make an 890). Was talking with a guy here about a 640 a while back, but that trailed off. Last I heard from him he was going to keep the saw and fix it instead. That's a long term project for me anyways. Got more than a few saws waiting in line already.

I can hook you up with either sprocket, but I left my 2to1 in Elko, Nevada.

Thanks a bunch guys. PM me with what you guys need for the sprockets including shipping. This'll help out a bunch. Having both 1/2"-8 and .404-8 sprockets means I'll be able to run the 1/2" chain I have now and can switch to .404 on longer bars in the near future. Right now the saw has a little 24" bar and a loop of 1/2". The guy I got the saw from TRADED IN the original 36" B/C for the 24" decades ago because he wanted it to be "more handy"....:bang:

I recently got an NOS 31" McCulloch .063G hardnose for this saw. It'll be MUCH cheaper to get a loop of .404 for it. Also plan to pick up a 42-48" bar for this saw down the road, and the .404-8 sprocket will make that much more affordable too.

Cliff it looks like an XP1000 parts saw may be coming my way soon. That'll take care of the rest of the parts needs for that XP1130G.

Files...............Crap. You're right. It was Will P instead. Why do I mix you guys up in my head sometimes? Probably because you're both great guys North of me that recently scored SP-80 and SP-81 McCullochs in "group saw" purchases?:D

Lets see I can always use more 7/32 files
I need another flat file or two for filing the rakers.
I can always use chainsaw spark plugs.
I'm almost out of coffee...LoL
Folgers instant coffee. classic roast.:D

You are a hard man to please Cliff. Where are we going to get those scarce, expensive items? And I thought Jacob's 10 Bazillion Million dollars asking price was tough. You drive a hard bargain.:D

Don't mean to bust up your trading here guys, but I saw Mr. Bow Saw post, and remembered I had a question for him.

A little farther pack in this thread I picked up a Disston 2 man saw with a 7hp Mercury motor. However, it has a scratcher chain on it, and I have no clue how to sharpen it. In the two man Chainsaw thread, someone posted a pdf that you put up for Sharpening a Mall scratcher chain.

I wanted to ask if this will work for the chain on my Disston as well?

Scratcher is scratcher, least as far as I know. Looks familiar from my Disston research on said chain types.
