Post a photo of that Lombard drum with some dimensions, I have a box full of drums and not sure what all they may fit. I think a few say Remingtion, others say Homlite, others have no saw manufacturer mentioned but do have the sprocket manufacturers part number.

Mark

I think I have him covered. I'll know for sure tomorrow.

If anyone is interested I have an old iel hm in reasonably good condition that I would like to trade for an old 90+ cc homelite or mcculloch (eiher direct or gear drive). If anyone is interested I can get up some pictures, and test spark and compression. It is in fairly good cosmetic shape, he only real issue if a chunk missing from the clutch cover, it would still work, but doesnt look he best. Eiher PM or post your interest. In case of lots of interest, the first reputable member who asks will get the offer.

Remington Bantam Cylinder

I was cleaning up the cylinder for my Remington Bantam today, and noticed a chip in the chrome plating of the cylinder just above the exhaust port. Does anyone have one available for trade? I have a lot of Remington parts saws, as well as some other parts and green stuff.

Any of you pro parts hunters know where a guy could find a carb kit (gaskets and float) for a tilly ME. Its on a Hornet DJ 3600H. Saw is in pretty good shape except the carb. TIA

I have some ME Carbs with floats in them. Whats wrong with your float?
Do you have any pics of it?

I took the bottom of the carb off to inspect it. Float is all crinkled up. Looks like somebody grabbed it and squeezed it like a beer can. Is is supposed to look this way? Never been in one. I will try for a pic later today.

Bringing back a Remy 754G, but need parts

I have a 754 G that is complete, but was straight-gassed. the piston, rings and cylinder are junk, and I am eagerly looking for replacements. Please help me get this big dog barking again.

Thanks,
Jim

PS: Have presidents to trade.

What are you needing for the P41?

Serviceable piston w/rings for a P-41 (thin ring) or just a piston (that takes conventional rings) from one of the other P-40 types. I think JacobJ has me covered but havn't heard back from him.

Only other items are the fuel tank bulkhead fitting (3/8"-16 with hose barb each end) and an inside bar plate.

I have been working on adapting a 15" (!!!) :msp_ohmy: Remington roller nose to the Pioneer mount. A 8 x 3/8" rim will get the chain speed up some.

Do they make a 9 x 3/8"?:hmm3grin2orange:

Thanks bud.

Carl.

I probably have the plates and maybe the fitting.

I have a complete super 754 if it would be something you are interested in.

The hornet runs, sort of. The carb float works good enough. Any chance someone could explain the carb to me? Which screws need turned which way and what does what? I have searched all day for a diagram or something on the ME carb. No luck. Maybe its top secret and stuff. TIA

The Idle low speed adjustment screw is at the top of the carb. 3/4 turn out starting point.
The high speed mixture adjustment screw is near the bottom of the carb, 1 1/2 turns out
starting point.

This is a ME carb.
