'Bout time!!! Hope you're doing well my brother.

Hiya Charles. Doing well. Hope you are too. Has been a while. Been wanting a running S-250 for years. Have had that last S-250 project (that Dave now has) for over two years. Only have had my current Super for a couple months. It and the Homelite 2000A that came to me at the same time are now both runners and will be going with me to the PNW GTG next weekend.

Here's mine with a few McC accesories.

NOS parts and the Yellow Top S250

Ya know if I can find an NOS starter and clutch cover my yellow top would look like brand new. I seriously doubt I will find an NOS lid for it but the one on it isnt bad at all. I found a front tank cover, lower arm, left side cover with switch and spike for it that dressed it up. Thing is now I don't want to use it because it is so clean. Oh well that is what the Black top S250 I have is for I guess. The Yellow top still has hone marks in the cylinder. This saw wasn't used much I don't believe. It's nice to find old saws like this in such good shape. One of my better Craig's list finds... I'm fairly new to collecting saws and can't believe all of the parts and pieces you can still find for these old saws. I have found quite a few nice NOS parts for the saws I have so far. Gaskets are fairly easy to find yet some are elusive. For the most part you can practically build a new saw from the parts you can find still around.

I can't edit the other post for some reason so I had to do this. I can see the pics on my end so are they working now?

LOL. Bob ran the big Macs "back in the old days". He told me that running my saw brought back memories...:givebeer:

It sure did bring back memories...memories of sore shoulders, ringing ears, sore back, numb hands, and packing one of those things all day in rough country.

It's probably one of the best running 250s I ever had my hands on though. Good job.
