one place Echo stands out is the 9010 backpack blower. I have a 580bts and now the Echo and a honest 25% better would be easily said running them back to back. A good friend has the big Stihl and same thing the Echo is a bunch ahead in power. As far as the China junk, NOPE. I am having enough issues with Lithium batterys from them. And this is using their top of the line batteries. At least these manufactures stand behind them. not so much for most of the chinese ones. CJ
Yeah I meant to specify chainsaw models, I can't speak to things like blowers and such where Echo may well make something better. Of course, at the very top of the line of their chainsaw models, I get the impression Echo does make a massive brute of a 116cc pro saw that matches up to the 881 or the 3120, with their CS-1201 but it's not sold in America. And costs just as much as the competition. To each their own what people want to use and what works for their budget and situation, but "you get what you pay for" never changes on the cheap end of things.

How do you like your 366? I've been running 036s for years and love them. I've looked hard at the G366, but never pulled the trigger.
So far so good, have it good and broken in and even did some milling with it! I did replace the air filter that came with it with an OEM fleece filter and I threw a Proline carb on it, will probably muffler mod it eventually too. The stock mesh filter was letting a lot of fine dust into the carb and I didn't like it. It also seemed to run fine with the carb it came with (I guess at some point in the past they had issues with the carbs on them)

Good to know. I would have replaced the air filter also. That was a bad idea on their end. If I ever get one, I'll make sure to get a good air filter for it also.

Yeah it was, probably the worst air filter I've ever seen. Whatever material they used where it seals against the case was horrible and brittle. The filter on my 660 clone was better, but it was still a little suspect itself, so I eventually replaced it too with the type that has the foam insert in the middle and it keeps the fines completely out.
