Well Niko, I'd have to suggest one of the last two options:

-Huh?
.
.
.
.
or
.
.
.
.
-I wish I was man enough for a Super 250.

:cheers::cheers::cheers:

This is a good time to whip this out ain't it?????

Ok so I guess the yellow top S250 came first and then the black top version. So how many yellow tops exist compared to the black top variant? And if the yellow top is 80cc why is it called a super? Does it have the porting like the black top version? It appears all posts in here show a black top so how many in here own a yellow top S250? Now since I have a black top I can compare it to a regular 250 and I agree it's a huge improvement. So how would an 80cc yellow top compare to either a regular 250 or a black top S250?

Speaking of giving your left nut for one of these I have a short story to share for a job I used to have. There was a young kid that worked there and his Uncle owned the business so he was pretty laid back, full of body ink and liked to party and hit a lot of hard core shows. Me and him became pretty good friends. He started this roumor that Fort Detrick was doing experiments and would give anyone 40K for one of their testicles. He seemed to be so serious about it and everyone believed him. This spread to all the other stores and also got out to surrounding stores and everyone was talking about going to this army base to donate one of their testicles. Hell I was even thinking about doing it. I think I could live with one and oh yeah he also said that they would put in a fake testicle that costs 10K if you didn't want to be lopsided.

So anyway this was going around for a few years and finally one day I was talking to him and told him I was going to go do the procedure. He started laughing and looking at me and I said what... He said you actually believed that??? I said are you kidding me? He kept laughing and said dude I made that up and was just laughing his head off. He couldn't believe how far it spread and all the people that wanted to go get rid of one of their nuts... He was real convincing about it. Anyway I never gave it much thought as that facility was doing experimental stuff anyway so why not believe it. But to this day I still have both of my gonads and don't want to give up either one of them. Now I would consider it for that saw Lee built of that gear drive with chrome accents... Maybe I'd give up both of them for that sucker... :bang:

Come on Aaron!! There was a little magnesium left in it that wasnt corroded:jester:. It was a challenge to say the least, but I had a whole lot of help from everybody here to get me through it. I do have a yellow top along with the black top. Mr. Bow Saw sent me this one to help with the build of the other, and I just couldnt stand it staying a parts saw. I have not run them side by side for a good comparison, but I will say that I am pretty sure I measured the crank at 1.5" witch would be 87ccs.

Ok guys ............. there's a whole lot of anatomy talk in this thread lately.

IF you were to give a left nut for one of these saws, to whom would you give this nut to?

...... Better yet, WHY would they want it?

Ive posted a pic or two of it before. One of the best saw purchases Ive made. Started acting up at a GTG, carb rebuild time just havent got around to it.

Considering I'm pretty attached to both of my nuts, what would be a fair price for a good condition 250 super that runs? Just curious, I'm not sure I've ever seen one for sale.

HaHaHa!!!! I doubt Lee needs a couple extras.....but even if you could make the trade......then......you wouldn't have nutz enough to run that saw!!!!!!!! LOLOLOL!!!!!!!!!

What I would like to know from the poll is how many of those saws are yellow tops versus black top saws? :bang:

Put half a tank through mine today. I love listening to it bark on the over-run. BWAAAAAAAHHHnnnnnnnnnnnnPOPPOPPOP.

I've only seen two yellow top Supers with the holes.

I do not have, and have never seen in person a Super 250 with the yellow top. I think someone out there needs to send one or both to Dike so I can have a closer examination.

If they decide to stay and live with their friends and family, what can I do about it????

With all the saws you have and you have never seen one? That's interesting. I seen one on ebay awhile back and don't remember if it had the holes or not. Until I joined this group that was the only yellow top I had seen. Sounds like then these are pretty darn scarce saws. I wish there were production figures like some companies keep on how many of what was made then we would know a lot more. All we can go by for now i guess is how many are known by who has what in here or if any others are discovered.

Super 250

I have a running 1-63 with a 36 incher and a running 99 with a 48 inch b&c. Do those count for something?
