I was catching Bulletpruf for awhile. Then LOML stepped in and requested some sales. Unfortunately, I sold several of the best saws that I ever had, so I regretted the move. My error. Nearly half of the owners of these saws reported to me that they had either been stolen or ruined after they lent them out. Gasp!

I have definitely contracted CAD since I joined.. that was about 3 years ago, when I had 2 Husky L65's.. .Now I have 5 (maybe 6) running L65's, a piped 77cc Husky 61, a normal 61, a ported 394, a big bore 064, a ported 044, a Husky 35, and a Ford (O&R) baby saw.. those are the ones that are running.. I have 4 2100's in various stages of repair as well.. All kinda run but need a little work here or there... I also have an 028 and 03something that kinda run but need work.. Then, apart from the bars on the saws, I have about 15 of them, the longest is a 36" Husky 404 bar.
So that's 12 runners, and 6 projects, and a pile of scrap... I'm not doing bad for never having paid more than $50 for a saw

The beautiful 028 that you sent to Italy is still safe and sound and has served me well. Certainly not going to loan it to anyone!

So I actually took the time to look at your Sig line.....sixty five saws? Is that correct? Wow! Especially since nine of them are Jonsereds XF's.

Guilty.

And, yes, I'm a big fan of J'red XF's. There's a collector in rural northern Sweden who is slowly liquidating his inventory; he has a sh*tpile of vintage Jonsereds. And I buy every XF he puts on the market, thinking it might be his last one. And they just keep on coming. He won't tell me how many more saws he has. Smart guy.

I am of the opinion that the XF is one of the most aesthetically pleasing saws ever made.

Ugh CAD. I've acquired 3 saws since I joined in September or whenever it was. Took me 4 years to get the first 3 now 6 ugh. I wasn't allowed to get the recent one now how can I buy more. It hurts a bit lol I'm going to have to start cutting and burning s lot more wood to justify this.

Um, that's only potential CAD. I get back on here to say howdy, and it's six new (to me) saws in nine days. I use them, more and more these days, but stihl....

Alain Lamothe in Quebec. Better get busy boys, I think some of you have some catching up to do!

Alan used to be a member here. He has a few saws but there are guys with lots more. These old timers started collecting saws before they were even collectable. Even back when I started collecting saws in the early 90s old saws were just considered conversation pieces in most cases.
