Who has the worst case ever of CAD?

Hello, my name is TheTone and I have CAD. I am not a candidate for worst case CAD. But I am probably a candidate for most acute shortest duration CAD. Let me tell you my story. For years I lived happily with my first and only chainsaw, a Poulan 2300AV purchased new in about 1982 or so. We cut wood together in a very businesslike relationship when I lived in a home with a fireplace. I moved to a new location. Fast forward 30 years. I acquired a vacation cabin in the mountains which had a beautiful fireplace in the living room and a wood stove in the basement. We had 34 acres of forest with 100 lifetimes worth of free firewood. Sensing I needed heavier artillery I went on Ebay and found a used Stihl 034AV with a two foot bar. Again, things went well. We cut wood together and supplied our firewood needs. But then she became ill. She refused to start. I tried all the simple things, but then did a compression test, did some reading, and realized that her piston and rings were fried due to a seal gone bad. Major surgery was needed. Meanwhile, I needed a working saw, so I bought a used 028WB (my old Poulan was tossed aside like an old shoe). I was able to fix my 034, but somehow that just wasn't enough. If I could fix that saw, I could turn basket cases into workhorses. You can probably write the rest of the story yourself. I looked at sad, broken down wrecks and imagined them coming to life in my hands. The Phoenix rising from the ashes to live and fly again. At that point the disease had taken a firm hold on my rational mind. So what inspired this post? Have you ever heard the old saying that an alcoholic underestimates his drinking by half? Well, yesterday I did an actual chainsaw count. The number was only one shy of TWICE my estimate. The actual number? I refuse to answer on the grounds that my answer might tend to cause me severe embarrassment if my wife found out.
My hoard is somewhere around 20 working saws of all makes and vintages, and counting!

My second 090 arrived from Beau yesterday safe and sound. I had to pose a couple of the big boys for a picture and then I started to grab all the 100+ CC saws and realized I have a problem...my bench is too small...Lol
Chainsaws are so silly

These are the overflow that don't have a place on the 'special saw' shelf.

Main reason the vet has been gridlocked for so long.

Now that this thread has been bumped, I have a few updates...

Got me another one of them big yellow saws to keep my SP125 company - this one's a 797. All nice and clean and rebuilt and ready to rip.

And my Echo Twin was getting lonely, so I got her a sibling.

And dangit if my Solo Twin didn't get jealous, too, so I got her an identical twin to shut her up. A good running one at that...

My single MS90A Husky has somehow experienced Immaculate Conception. Twice. And now there are 3.

And I now have all the colors of the rainbow (ok, maybe just 3) represented in the Jonsereds XD/XD Super.

Looks like I will have a minty 056 Magnum beast headed my way as well.

I have some bad news, too...

I sent a diesel saw (Jonsereds XA) to a new home in the states. But I replaced it with a nicer one! :)

And I have two Jonsereds XF's headed out to the states, too. Leaving me with only 8 left :(

I have definitely contracted CAD since I joined.. that was about 3 years ago, when I had 2 Husky L65's.. .Now I have 5 (maybe 6) running L65's, a piped 77cc Husky 61, a normal 61, a ported 394, a big bore 064, a ported 044, a Husky 35, and a Ford (O&R) baby saw.. those are the ones that are running.. I have 4 2100's in various stages of repair as well.. All kinda run but need a little work here or there... I also have an 028 and 03something that kinda run but need work.. Then, apart from the bars on the saws, I have about 15 of them, the longest is a 36" Husky 404 bar.
So that's 12 runners, and 6 projects, and a pile of scrap... I'm not doing bad for never having paid more than $50 for a saw
Would you have any Spare L 65 Parts available?
