The really good stuff is "Very Old Turkey".

Pot won't be legal around here anytime soon, the local law
relies on it for retirement. If it would be made legal, the price
would drop too low.

Every moving thing liveth shall be meat for you; even as the green herb have I given you all things'' Genesis 9:3

Behold, I have given you every herb bearing seed and to you it will be for meat.'' Genesis 1:29 (spiritual meat maybe?)

"There went up a smoke out of his nostils" Psalms 18:8

Seems to me that consumerism, greed, politics and shallow religion are unclean spirits that are separating people from their God,and in reality religious beliefs and maybe even the concept of a deity came to be because of smoking or eating cannabis.

Long live the NEW WINE!!!!

MJ

I will stick with the liquid stuff for now vs "The New Wine" until it becomes legal, then I think I will acquire a few seeds and sow me a (personal of course) crop. I am in the process of learning crimes only become crimes in Canada if the police decide to push them as such to the Crown prosecution, so if you have paid off the cops or prosecutor, or the transgression against you does not pay off for either, forget it.I think this is what has happened, though in a positive way for most, to possession of small, personal use amounts of grass in this country, so why not make it a simple misdemeanor something like a parking or speeding offence, so you can fine it (ie tax it) quickly and neatly, and thus make a few $$$$$$$ off the transgression, instead of having to tie up court time. What a farcical system.

Newfie, I might have known you would be one of them to pop off. You made my day.

Actually it was the sometimes over refreshed and mischievous Tony that posted the thread. I believe he is very bored, and just likes to draw out contaversy. He is not here tonight.

About any topic concerning saws, that is not rude, should be O.K. Its a democratic forum; everyone has a right to be bored to death by overworked subjects if they want to.

Gypo and Fish do a good job of adding some spice the bland winter stew. Ol Tony just blundered into the traffic, drunk probably. Everytime he hears another story about how someone can do it all with an 026, he goes and gets another beer.

Hi Tony, what I like most about Arborsite is the 2$ words I have found that increase my vocabulary.
My favourite one to date, is bilabial, it sounds so warm and fuzzy.

Sorry about that, my first try at posting a pic.
I have no idea how to get rid of the paint window and just post the image.
Just got the scanner and the software is a bit of a mystery.:(

Save the image to a file on your hard drive (preferably jpeg for venues such as this) and indicate the path to the file in the "Attach file:" box.  It appears as though you can browse to it as well.

In this case, it will be /home/glen/up_here.jpg

Also, if you preview your posting, you'll have to re-enter the attachment information before submitting it, at least that's been my experience (evidently other's as well).

It looks like you've dropped your roof and will have to go back down and carry it back up again.  I hate it when that happens...

Glen

Thank you Glen, I am still trying to figure out how to take the scanned photo in Paperport (the scanner software) and make a jpg file out of it.
Seems I can only make bmp files.
It was a lot easier climbing up that tree carrying that roof than learning how to use this new toy.
I think I can fix it with my 084, do you use ripping chain on plastic?

Hi Keener.

Visit http://www.imagemagick.com/ for a very versatile image manipulation tool.

BMP files are very large as compared to JPEG files which take the data and compress it.  You'll note the file I'd attached was about 1/10 the size.  JPEG images, in their standard compression setting, are not so suitable for images containing important fine detail such as text as they are for "natural" types of things where the viewer's mind will compensate for lost data to some extent.

On plastic, I like to use a semi-skip at least, or maybe even full-skip chain since the heat generated generally tends to cause the chips to coalesce (Hi Tony!  the $1.00 version of that word would be "melt together", and for 50¢ you get "wad up").

Glen

I like (melt together) for a $1.00

Seriously, does it stick to the chain pretty bad?

I don't know anyone that cuts plastic with a chain saw. I knew some guys that cut up their frozen deer with a chainsaw. You don't wanna bring those saws in by the stove.

PS They cut foam with kitchen electric knives at the local casket plant.

It's not so much the plastic itself that sticks, but the glass, wires, and various semiconductors all mixed together with it create one royal mess.

But then this is all in the same world as the one where a person carries a roof up a tree and takes chainsaws to scanners, not in ours.
