Hmmmm, I'll have to confirm when we get closer. I do have a canoe. I also have a spare float tube. If we do it you may want to bring less beer-I don't drink much and you wouldn't want to add to Hwy 115's stats.;)

Today I didnt work because I need to mow our yard.

When I got done I went over to see the "old legends" at work (who are friends of mine). I took the Tahoe instead of the work truck so I didnt have any of my junk (including my lid:eek:)

I get there, and they are using an 8 ton crane (homeowners) with a basket. They have NO PPE (including chainbrakes, the dude in the basket was using a saw that was 28 years old which cut slow as everything) and are using ropes from the papermill which are looking very tired. They were takin tiny pieces (needed to because of the ropes). The crane was in a good spot for working out of the basket, but if they let me set it up, they coulda lifted the whole tree in 2-3 cuts (the tree was next to the driveway.) Instead they do it there way, and get half of the top down. The tree that they were doin went up 30' split to 2 codominant leaders, and was a total of about 55' tall. They got 1 leader out.

I am gonna try and get by there tomorrow afternoon after I do my work and do that tree and the last one for them. It hurts me to see them swimming in ignorance. The climber is 60+ years old, and the groundy is in his 40's and is tore up from doin trees (shoulders are shot, and just got rebuilt).

Other than that my day was fine:) cept a test I BOMBED big time, the teacher is trying to fail us, she told us so.
