Mahk, my crew at REI have informed me that it might not be worth it to contact Yale regarding blaze. They will just direct you to retailers/sellers that have it in stock...

OK Arbo Supply, Fresco, Sherrill, Bishop...who am I missing?

got my first climbing rope - opptes for yale xtc - and its d@mn good! new englands are alright but cost a bit - marlow t16 are crap at first take a lot of brakeing in butr fine when they soften up.

Blaze characteristics:

size= 11mm
strength= 6000#
knots= Great
coated= like velocity??? ABSOLUTELY NOT.

Those answer your general questions. It is a spliceable 11mm that requires only a basic double braid splice which for those w/ experience is an easy splice compared to the fly. It is also easily visable (orange,black,yellow).

If youre into the 11mm size line, this one is well worth your time to try.
