Sorry to hear that. At least it's done and fixed now. You'll be good to go in a few weeks.

first of all i would like to say thank you to everyone who stopped by and said "hi." it really does make you feel better to be among friends.
today was the first day that i felt like getting out of the house. i went to meet with a timber buyer about some acreage that needs to be clear-cut. the walk in the woods felt good. i think the remnants of the anesthesia are finally gone. i only woke one time last night which is a definite improvement from waking every hour to get comfortable. i guess i have come to terms with the fact that i am out of action for several months. i am trying to focus on the end result. i have had my arm out of the sling several times today and have started some very minor PT. i have already been through this with the other shoulder, so i have a good idea of how hard to push and when to stop. thanks again to everyone.

Neal,

Great to have ya back man. Don't push it too hard, some days in PT you are gonna fight back tears and bite your tongue to keep from saying :censored::censored::censored:,,,,,:censored:!!!!!

When my wife had her knee replaced PT was the hardest thing I've ever seen. The good thing is you are on the road to recovery.

Great to have ya back mang!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

the PT that i am doing now is fairly passive. they are called pendulums. you bend over, dangle your arm and swing it in increasingly large arcs. next week i will start with the range of motion work. that will hurt like H LL!!!!!!!!!!! been there, done that............
