Do you have to know the latin or just the common names on the tree i.d. part of the i.s.a. cert. test?

I took the test a few months back and it was multiple choice with both latin and common names on the Tree I.D. portion. I couple different species of elm, pretty simple though. I guess it depends on your proctor and how it's structured. I wouldn't imagine it would be too different from mine.

You ll need them both for the rest of your arborist life if that s what you ve chosen.

And it works well when you can call the sand cherry a prunus because they may think it is a plurple plumb
