At least the guy was honest. I just drove an hour each way to look at CL find, a "Dual Sport, street legal" Yamaha, title in hand". Well, it was an enduro with a Certificate of Orgin stamped "OFF ROAD USE ONLY".

There is 4 hours & a half a tank of gas i'll never get back..........
Argggggggggggggg!

If i don't get 2 wheels under me soon i may go completely insane:dizzy:

I am about 6 ft 230 and I have a Hyosung GT250 It is a naked street bike that will do 0 to 65 with no problem, 80 is doable but anything over that is a bit much. I got it 2700 brand new (it was an 05 model in 08 but it was trapped in the back of the show room. Not sure what it is you are looking for in a bike, but don't underestimate the power of a 250, (hyo has more pep than a rebel can ever dream of)

Nah, i'm looking for a 250-400cc combo dirt/street bike(KLR250/KLX250/DR350/DRZ400/etc. Lots of trails here especially after i hit them with the dozer & a chainsaw.......

odd stuff, but look at the scorpa Long ride, Beta Alp, GasGas Pampera. Trials engines and geometry with seats and bigger tanks. Primarily trail, some can be street legal. You will be able to ride to the store on the street. But compared to the 'enduros', they might be 75 lbs lighter, more low end power, quieter and be able to ride places in your woods and trails you can't even envision WALKING.
I'm biased, challenge and skill long ago took over from speed for me.
