i am from australia but i am wanting to buy a new ms 441 stihl c-q through a dealer in the united states and get it imported back here to to brisbane, australia. if anyone knows where to start with any great dealers there i can get in contact with for this purchase and the necessary postage, the help would be greatly appreciated. thanks and have a great day.

hey mate, try one of the big stores like Bailey's(link at top of page)

your biggest problem will be shipping. they may insist on using a courier like fedex etc. big $$$ and will have to pay all the duty, gst and brokerage fees. if they will send it via the post it will cost less and may come to your door without fees. my 272xp from ebay turned up the other day no questions asked... hope the same goes for the 288xp on route.

Stihl dealers aren't allowed to sell new saws per mail, so you should probably look for a lightly used one - try the "Trading post" here first.....;)
 
Did somebody say CQ, awwwwwww thats okay troll I know they work well and thats all that matters.:rock:

They add weight and complexity, and imo are a liability when they suddenly are clogged by chips or something else), and doesn't work.

It has been reported to happen........:jawdrop:

Complicated designs, to solve non-existent problems, is not my cup of tea.

My advice is to avoid, unless you have a spesific reason that you want it.
