Mike, Sounds good if it is the fat-tail bar.-As you no doubt know-lots of Pioneers used differing tail patterns-the 6900,7700, 8500 used the Homelite tail. I need to verify that I can get a 3/8ths sprocket for the Alpina-NPA (Herr) catalogs it but I need to order and confirm it is in stock.
I just realized that the chart I was using is a bit goofy-those are Poulan Pro model numbers. The P-series Pioneers used D007 bars with a potential crossover to D196. The Old Jonseys used D024 with crossover to D196. The bottom line is- I need a bar with 9.5mm (3/8th s inch) slot and a fat tail-I could open up a D009 (Large Husky) bar but the saw's oiler hole is too high-it is bisected by the upper bar rails.
