Well...tomorrow the largest hurricane in 50 years will be hitting Pinellas county on the west coast of Florida. We will be working until christmas i'm assuming. This should be hillarious. It will be my first hurricane as a tree man. I look forward to the challenge ahead.

Latest track shows it hitting Tampa around 8 pm Friday. 125 mph winds forecast. 14 foot storm surge in Tampa Bay and along the coast. I'm inland quite a bit, 56' above sea level. The wind should be fairly strong by noon Friday.

I'm jumping ship and heading for Colorado! I'll be out of here at dawn and I'll most likely get caught up in all the evacuees from Tampa. Heck, I might boogie out tonight and hit up Dan for some breakfast tomorrow morning in Atlanta. :D

Dan, if you feel like feeding some more of your wife's pancakes, email or PM me tonight so I can get the address again. I'm just gonna mosey my way out to Colorado I guess (yeah, right).

Hey Rocky you goin hunting while your gone?

Aint that the truth John. Same here in Oklahoma w/ tornados. Fortunatly we have advanced enought in the meteorlogical sciences to see them coming w/in an hour or so.

When them things hit, BAM! trees are gone. aint much work for us except on the fringes. I hope one never hits Enid (thats where i live). Our ice storm was bad enough.

Storm work is nasty and dangerous and every moron with a Wild Thang thinks he's a tree expert. I don't want to get caught up in that nonsense.

Ain't that the truth, more injuries and damage common during storm cleanup by dingbats than regular work. Hope all in the path further south are safe and be careful out there afterward. I am waiting it out here in Va and see what comes of it my way.
Be careful :blob2:
