I can't tell you anything about top handles. I don't climb trees!
What about a rear handled 200 :).
Right, it's like for decades Stihl saws sucked performance wise.
What about the 064, what a beast for power to weight.
Too bad they had a front tensioner and rubber AV.
The 462 is a great option, glad stihl is finally catching up in the ergonomics department.
The 241 is a great 40cc option as well.

All you have to do to a 361 is unchoke the muffler and BAM...the best saw ever.
They would run forever, even ported, but, they wouldn't keep up with a ported husky of the same vintage(ie the 357).
The 361 was a great example of stihl using husky innovation to improve their saws, it was the husky like saw they had ever built.

Maybe on paper, but mod for mod in the wood, the husky will win.
Besides, the husky would also win for ergonomics/handling.

The 036 feels a lot nicer when you pick it up. One of the nicest saws I've ever worked with.

When they came out with the 362, I said it felt like big box with handles on it........

The earlier 362 was the worst of the pro saws I've ran, I had an MS310 that would out run it. It was a turd!
The 036 has a few things I didn't like about it, but it cut wood just fine.
