I can't say if that's true or not. I can tell you for certain a Husky 357 will smoke a 360, has better antivibe and better filtration. I can also tell you a 562xp will smoke a 361.Specs don't bear You out on this assertion.

562xp will smoke a ms362 as well.I can't say if that's true or not. I can tell you for certain a Husky 357 will smoke a 360, has better antivibe and better filtration. I can also tell you a 562xp will smoke a 361.
I had to put a piston in one that was a day old after user dogging it in a big red oak with a 36 inch bar. That's probably true in western softwoods that cut very easy. Not so much in eastern hardwoods or Australia.
Right, it's like for decades Stihl saws sucked performance wise.562xp will smoke a ms362 as well.

What about a rear handled 200 .I can't tell you anything about top handles. I don't climb trees!
What about the 064, what a beast for power to weight.Right, it's like for decades Stihl saws sucked performance wise.
They would run forever, even ported, but, they wouldn't keep up with a ported husky of the same vintage(ie the 357).All you have to do to a 361 is unchoke the muffler and BAM...the best saw ever.
360 is an EPA choked down 036. The 036 has more HP than the 357.I can't say if that's true or not. I can tell you for certain a Husky 357 will smoke a 360, has better antivibe and better filtration. I can also tell you a 562xp will smoke a 361.
Maybe on paper, but mod for mod in the wood, the husky will win.The 036 has more HP than the 357.

Besides, the husky would also win for ergonomics/handling.
The earlier 362 was the worst of the pro saws I've ran, I had an MS310 that would out run it. It was a turd! The 036 feels a lot nicer when you pick it up. One of the nicest saws I've ever worked with.
When they came out with the 362, I said it felt like big box with handles on it........
Still slower than a bone stock 562. And with a complete crap filtration system to boit. All you have to do to a 361 is unchoke the muffler and BAM...the best saw ever.
Stihl saws being made now largely are copies of huskys. They would run forever, even ported, but, they wouldn't keep up with a ported husky of the same vintage(ie the 357).
The 361 was a great example of stihl using husky innovation to improve their saws, it was the husky like saw they had ever built.
A 357 will beat either.360 is an EPA choked down 036. The 036 has more HP than the 357.
But the Husqavarmint does have better AV and air filter
Only a brand loyal retard care about things such as looks...That's too bad, they used to be good saws.
And the Huskys are fugly looking too!!!

I remember that as being a real good one back in the day. The 288 cut real good and made great torque.272xp. cut a lot of wood with that saw
Hey, orange is my favorite color , luckily for me, some of the best equipment comes in a great shade of orange .Only a brand loyal retard care about things such as looks...
