Dean, just thought of two other options- if 22" chunks are too big too handle why not just use a false crotch to run them down. (I don't know how much experience you have.) Or if there is another tree nearby why not just run a zip or speed line from the tree to say your trailer parked out at the road? (Once again, don't know how experienced you are.)
