Now that I have your attention... heh heh...

Lots of us, including me, want one, and would pay a lot of money to get one.

I just talked to my dealer and had him call Tilton on it. He said Tilton told him that they considered it, but opted not to bring it in.

So I told my dealer to let Tilton know that they are losing lots of sales to Husky over it. 'Cause here's the deal: I'm a Jonsered guy, but I want a hot rod limbing saw. What? What's that you say? HUSKY has one? Okay, I'll just go get one of those. Of course, now I'm in a Husky dealership...hey...lookit the rest of them...maybe I'll start buying other things here...they got lots of models Jonsered doesn't...maybe I oughta be buying Husky instead?

BUT...if all us Jonsered nuts started calling our dealerships, and all our dealerships started calling Tilton...perhaps they might see the error of their ways?

So the moral of this overly long rant is to CALL YOUR DEALERSHIPS!! Prolly too many here see it isn't available, so give up. DON'T! Call 'em!!! Otherwise we are NEVER going to see one!

Cool down, for some reason the 2147 is a bit heavier than the 346xp, and it has the wrong (lack of) angle on the handlebar - looks much better though......-......:D ;) :yoyo: :yoyo:

The price here is about 1200 USD, quite a bit more than a MS361 (about 950).........

I could have bought one But missed my chance! my dealer only had one! I put a post up here earlier about it I should have bought it! Now he does'nt have anymore! He told me it was mistake and they can't get them anymore. Hindsight is 20-20 I should have got that one! The price was right and I missed it! For me it is the strait handle just cant get used to the husky one!

The handle is that way for speed limbing.
Pick one up hold it straight up and down, now turn your wrist fast to the right, while letting the left hand glide the front bar threw your grip. "fast eh" now back again.

On husky or stihl for that matter you also have to move your left arm forward and back on turns.

try it, Now you know why you European's use those Jonsereds in competitions.

Not all Stihls have stright handles. thats why I said "Stihl for that matter".

Good luck on the decal.

Nope, it is just a Jonsered "trademark".

Their (rather lame) excuse fur is that you can use the handlebar as a "gunning sight", when felling.....

The streight-across handlebar is OK for felling and limbing, but not for bucking, imo.;)

"Gunner sight" is not the only reason, I tried to locate the thread on what the Jonsered rep said about. It's designed for limbing faster. "Different technique"
I know you read it because you made a few post in that thread.

but in the end it doesnt make limbing any faster, it all depends on operator...
