in the 90's here in n.j.
still have mine on line to just heat my domestic hot water

It's been in the 90's for about two weeks here in Arkansas, and today's high is expected to be 95. Don't expect to be cranking up the fireplace anytime soon. Wish the A/C was wood operated!

We had a nice Saturday here. That was spring. All over now, cool and light rain here again yesterday, and more of the same today.

Cedarkerf's avatar is probably huddled around his cigarette trying to stay warm. Or leaning over his exhaust for the same reason. Being that close to a saw w/o chaps must be a challange. Maybe he will be on next season's AxMen doing some daring faller's trick in the snow, dressed like that to impress the cameramen? ;)

Oh yah, and the ex is complaining about my still burning wood for heat in the OWB this late in the year. I told her she can turn on the electric boiler and water heater if she wants to conserve wood. For some reason she does not understand that she has a lifetime supply of firewood on this property. And three more lifetime supplies of firewood in slash piles in a 20 mile radious. I am burning mostly dropped limbs and pithwood now. Low heat stuff that is useless to store in a woodpile, and not much use in cold months. But great for moderate 50 degree rainy days like today when the solar system is pretty useless.

Its burn burn burn...

Got down in the high 40s here last night and only in the low 50s today: damp, cool, and rainy.

Fire inside on June 11. That has got to be a record for me.

Got down to 44 here last night. This system is supposed to be blowing toward the east today and there is some clearing is in the forecast. Maybe.

Cedarkerf Man (the avatar) will be happy.

The fire department that I'm on was called to a chimney fire yesterday morning, so apparently there are quite a few people still burning around here. Yesterday afternoon we had rain and strong winds and it got down to the mid 40's. I hope we get some summer before fall gets here!!!!:dizzy:

Down into 40s here yesterday with cold monsoon rains. But warmer and almost springlike today! Better get here quick because the days will be getting shorter PDQ!

Didnt burn today 60s and partly sunny coulda burned last nite just let the furnace run. Our May electric bill was $40 more than January cause we tried to quite burnin. Outside in a Tee for once aaahhh.

Yah, I am trying to tell the ex that she will pay more $$$ if I shut the OWB down. Solar is not getting very hot on rainy overcast days here. She still wants the boiler shut down though. Why not? *shrug* its her electric bill. :givebeer:
