It is because no one within the Shell organization globally has my specialized knowledge. And this is not my first project with them. I also consult regularly to major engineering firms, for the same reason. By the way, it is spelled "Worley-Parsons". Some of us are real experts. Some, like you, are poseurs. I bet you could not get even one technical article past the editors of a major technical publication. Prove me wrong. Write one and see if you can get it published by a reputable publication.
I have no desire to write a technical article. I have much better things to do with my free time. I know you think it's a flex to be published, but it's really not. I know several people that have published articles that are working for 50k a year.

I can understand that, but I am skeptical that you could pull it off. In any case, you could do better than to denigrate those of us who have been published, as it does say something about one's knowledge and capability. But I think the tendency to denigrate people (not just me, by the way) is a personality defect. You actually seem to enjoy doing it, which makes you a troll. One difference between you and me is that, if you got hit by a truck and I were there to witness it, I would do everything I could to help you, such as administer CPR, call 911, apply pressure to arterial bleeding, etc., even though I think you are a jerk. You, on the other hand, would probably just rejoice in my misfortune and do nothing to help. Why would I help you? Because I recognize that, despite your shortcomings, you are still a child of God, loved by Him and worth saving.

I don't denigrate you because you right articles. I'm just not impressed by it.
I won't even address the rest of that emotional wreck of a post.
On one hand you make perverted comments and then in the next you talk about God. Typical hypocrit.

It is because I, too, have shortcomings. An obvious one is my temper. Another one is my seeming inability to let go of conversations with trolls.

I'm going to get this thread back to talking about sawdust somehow...
I will help you. Sawdust in the engine is not good. That is why they put air filters on saws. Is there really much more to be said?

Why do you suppose that is?
You tell me. And while you are at it, explain why normal 5W40 engine oil is not suitable for diesel use but there are versions specifically formulated that are suitable, and why could they not make a 0w20 diesel oil by using EP additives?

BTW I find it strange Shell would hire you to do anything. You work out of your house... Shell has thousands of engineers and when they do contract out it's with someone competent like Woorly-Parsens, not some half jazzed quack working out of his house in chithole Ohio. BTW being president of a one man band is laughable as is the 40 year old pic On your linked in profile.
You do know that a corporation must have a President or CEO, even if it is a one-person operation, don't you? Well, I guess you don't know that.

5w40 were originally synthetic diesel oils.
0w20 isn't suitable for HD diesel engines because it lacks viscosity..
No engine oil has EP additives. Gear oils do.

What if the same anti-wear additives used in diesel oils were added to a 0W-20 oil?

I am well aware of that, but listing such on your social media projects the idea you are some sort of big shot that your not.
I must have really gotten into your head, since you researched my articles to find my name, address, website, Linked-in account, etc. How about sharing your Linked-in profile to enlighten us?

My profile is blank. Companies I have previously worked for discouraged the use of social media. That and I never found it useful anyways.
I could give two chits about you so no, you haven't even slightly got in my head.
