Sometimes I do get tips upon delivery, but more often the customer gives themselves a tip when they wont pay in full.

I guess it doesn't really matter what kinda wood it is as long as it keeps you warm.

sounds like you need to retain exactly one stick of firewood for negotiating purposes. Hickory is excellent although the traditional lighter knot is preferred in the longleaf pine region. I can hook ya up for a reasonable fee

I recall beating a cross dog off with a hickory stick. Why is the the wood with the most btu's grown in the warmest climates? Yet up north here all we got is beetle kill black spruce. Most of the spruce I cut is about 200 years old, so I think It's much like hickory as the growth rings are very tight.
