One piece on the top looks like it split cleanly. I'm thinking it may be basswood. Bark slips off in sheets, wood is bright white when first exposed then turns yellow quickly, easy to split and light weight. Pretty low on the Btu charts, but delivered for free not bad if you need shoulder season wood.

I don’t think I’ll take the wood .
 
Been so long since I cut a basswood I don't recognize it. But I do remember that its the only wood when burned in my stove that I could tell by the smell of the smoke outdoors what was burning. The smoke has a very distinctive odor
