World saw brands?

It would be interesting to me to know what saws are sold around the world that we have not heard of. If you look at Oregons bar application guide online there seems to be clues that there are brands sold elsewhere that we don't generally hear about. For instance, apparently Alpina is still made but not sold in the U.S.

Wonder what Mike Acres knows about this?

I don't know about now but i cut timber with a guy in northern Cal. that used the big alpina, he had trouble getting parts so he bought a husky, so i do know they sold them here in the late 70s.
