Well, some used saws at least.

In all fairness, this thing looks beyond badass:

They look to start at about 200 euro. Can go up to 400 with options. Figure with the exchange rate that's around $300-$600
 
You could get one for 180€ here at a fair which is $240.

Love the design. I think they're going to be a hit with the climbing guys and the pros. Too much $$ for us hacks :D

For more info you can look up Pfanner protos integral, they have some youtube videos and such... (mostly in german tho)

Hard to use a saw if you don't have a head left from the time before...

Not that I'm running out to replace my helmet, but if I made my living behind a saw, I wouldn't be bothered with the price if it was a better option... Wouldn't buy it on looks alone most likely...
 
think i remember seeing on the news, justine beiber prancing around on stage wearing a stack lid like them ones
