This poor abused saw was just getting started in life, when some bozo forgot to add oil to his mix  Good thing I found it when I did....

That is what I thought when I pulled it out of the box. It looked good on the ad, but man was I floored when I pulled this thing out. From the looks of it, I would say it got straight gassed the exact moment the mix the dealer put in it ran out.

lucky!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the only thing i ever find strait gassed is wildthings:dizzy:

You are defiantly the Mother Theresa of saws taking in an orphan like that...

That 044 looks a whole lot better than the pic that's on Mike Acres site. He doesn't have much for specs either.

BTW....Nice score!

now a suggestion...

A nice Stihl saw that has been through so much trauma in it's life is probably emotionally scarred. Therefore, I recommend it attend rehabilitation and reentry classes in our Stihl rehab school for abused saws. I assure you there will be no cost, the fees are covered entirely. However, you will have to ship it here as soon as possible for the rehab to begin. Thanks in advance for your consideration... :monkey:
