Alas, I sold my "minty" 038 Mag just a couple weeks before this purchase....Now if it was a minty flat top 066 I might do some tradin....

I don't have an 066 but I'll look around. I don't have but one 044 and I neeeeed more.

You can never have too many 044's.
+1 On that one Wiggs, for a moment I thought you beat me on getting a real nice 044 for less than I paid for mine. Do you remember the one I got that had no muffler port, didn`t run right. Got 5 of them but always looking for more.

I do remember that one...Strange indeed, but worked out for you in the end. I have never seen an 044/046 rear muffler casing without an exit hole.
Don`t know where they came up with that combo either but it has made a real nice saw since I changed the muffler. Your saw looks great, should give good long service. 044`s rock!!

I can write 066 on the 038 and take the grinder to the top and make it flat
