That saw is cherry. I want to get one and seen that millwrightchris has a vary clean saw for sale in the tradin post for $600 and sent him a couple of questions about it but havnt heard back from him yet . his looks in great shape .

Nice! Did You replace the piston and cylinder or did the cylinder clean up?

I actually made an 044/046 hybrid last month, so I had a nice take off 50mm P&C for it. I did clean the cylinder up that was on it as well, and it cleaned up pretty good with one small score mark that you cant hardly feel with a nail, so I got an extra 50mm jug out of it too. Isn't life grand?

it is a great deal. i would be suspicious though.

lost of fine new looking blown up saws get stolen from the back of saw repair shops.
