It won't go to junk. No decision yet of what I will do with it.
FWIW I paid $1 for it.
Posted for the interest of others, maybe junk to some and gold to others.
Will give me something to tinker with, as that is what I enjoy doing.
Life is to short to get cranked about the small stuff.:smoking:

Want to double your money? LOL

Looks like all it needs is cleaning up some. Restore it and post the pics, I love old saws and would like to see it looking good again.

+1
Some of us like restoring old classics that may have seen better days. Whether it be chainsaws, 72' Chevy C-10 LS-7 454's or 87' Buick Grand Nationals. To each his own. The world is only big enough for so many elitists.

Just think that in 1957 that saw was probably "the cats meow". Friends we've come a long way in the last 50 years. How would you like to take that thing to the woods at 7:00am and come out that night at about 7:00pm?
Talk about a long day.....Mama wouldn't have to tell you to sit down and shut up and quit running in the house.:jawdrop: LOLOL

And you certainly wouldn't be out on the corner at night hangin' with your "homies" packin' a 9 and drinkin' a 40 either!

Nice find there bigbadbob, I have a couple of these old beasts up and running and so does Hoss. I am always looking for one more so PM me if you decide to sell it instead of restoring it. Pioneerguy600

Will do.
It will probably get a purple cleaner bath and go from there.
I doubt there is much wrong with it.
Bought it off a lady a quite few years older than the saw, it was the only thing in the yard sale that wasn't ladies clothing, kinda odd, but I don't ask questions, she did look like she could have run it at one time. LOL

Kamloops.
Not sure what to do with it, haven't even tried starting it.

Hey I've been there! Drove from Sorrento to Vancouver, stopped in Kamloops. I know that has little or nothing to do with the price of porkbellies on the Riyadh stock exchange, but I've been there nonetheless. Cool place. Lotsa trees in the mountains around there..........gosh, I think my 009 just started itself in anticipation, down there in the basement.........:greenchainsaw:

BIG old saws... Some guy wants to sell me a peachey (almost pristene) Dolmar CT... but... it's not my type of saw :greenchainsaw:

Kinda funny,,I have been working in Sorrento for the past month and will be for a while longer, 150 poles to remove along the lake. Small world.
