The bars look nice and I wouldn't of noticed the tape until you said something! :msp_biggrin:
I was thinking of using LowRider ape hanger bicycle handle bars and bend them to match the O.E. ones on my Prentice, but I don't know if the chrome will crack and flake off when I bend them.
Whats custom SS bars?

The Handle bars on this Disston are hand made out of Stainless Steel (SS) heated and bent to shape. Your right, the chorme will flake off.

Get your self some seamless SS tube and take it to your local custom exhaust shop and see if they can do the job.:msp_smile:

I have a clutch drum and a 9/16 sprocket, If you need a sprocket.
I have a bar cover but it has lots of corrosion on it.
I don;t have a trans clamp or helper handle.

Cliff, I believe I have a trans clamp. It may be primer green.. But I can get it out to you or whatever if you are getting a box together for Scallywag.. I dont know about a helper handle. Dirtbike kept me busy yesterday evening.

Gents, Here's a Disston DA 211 that needs some parts to finish it....

Clutch Drum, Gearbox Clamp / Collar ,Bar Cover ,Helper Handle.

It would be nice to see it run again !

A few years back I bought a couple brand new Disston 211 trans clamps from this place.

Welcome to Wildfire They were about $75 each.

It was either the Oregon or Cal location that stocked them for the WAJAX Disston DA 211 fire pump.


When looking them up again I remembered I had a couple Mercury KB 7 fire pumps.

The darn pumps were so heavy I think they got pulled off the motors and scrapped. ( dont tell 67mustang that though.:msp_biggrin: )

Had about 10 of the KB 7's here at one time. Might have 5 left now.

This one just landed - a nice old Disston DH-120 with the Kiekhaefer KB7-B 12HP twin. This unit starts and runs very nicely. More pics to come.
