Big wood, long bars.

I had this McCulloch 73 of Don's for a few years, finally got around to getting it going.

The fir log was large so we tag teamed it.

They let me finish it off, sometime you have to use your hips to help lever it through.

There are usually a few smaller logs as well for those who just want to make cookies.

There are a lot of chip to clear out when you are cutting a large diameter log with the bar buried and sometimes they don't all get out of the way.

Apparently I was trying to drive home a point regarding Don's McCulloch 73.

I did not get a photo of Nate running the 1-75 but I saw him carrying it around at one point...

From Jay Hansen's on my way home...this guy knows how to display his collectable saws.

Jay lost several saws in the fire of 2020, one ribbon of aluminum was saved...

as was this hatchet head.

He also sent home with me one complete and one parts Orline saw. I've never seen one actually run, maybe this will be a project for next year.

I did not have room in the back of the truck to bring everything home so I ended up securing a few to the top of the cover. Everything made the trip back in good shape.

I am already make some tentative plans for next year. Thanks again to Bod, T, Shannon, and everyone else that once again made this a superb event. We even had three days without rain (Thursday, Friday, and Saturday) which is the first time I've had that experience in 9 years.

I would be remiss if I did not also point out that Pete O. (Rocketnorton) sent the two cut off saws down with Big Bad Bob. I will get these cleaned up and put into the display sooner rather than later. John L. collected the Canadien for me from a local auction, and Don L sent the 4-30 with a beavertail bar and 1/2" pitch chain.

The Homelite 360 from Bob will get a good cleaning and move in to the display. Mike J gave me the electric Mac with a curious background, that one will require a little research.

I thought that the exaust looked familiar, I have two Solo 615 AV saws in my collection. They look to be quality chainsaws, I have yet to get around to assembling them, I bought two of them in pieces in a box for fifty dollars.
