Another one down and butchered today. Racing saws is fun and arguing saws is fun too but any saw can bring in a few bucks no matter the brand. The man that paid me $300.00 to take down and zip up this tree also paid me 200.00 last week for two small trees in his back yard. They took about 30minutes to do. Get out there and make some funds fellers, saws pay for themselves quiet easily as you can see.

Nice score Mr. Hall.

I get to work in the woods for about 20 hours, lots of hard labor and end up with a $600.00 load of logs. Math is not my specialty, but I'm starting to guess you are getting just a tiny bit more money for your time.

I know what ya mean there. My going rate has been the same for years, I'll saw it down, saw it up for a 100.00 but I'm not cleaning it up. This man here was very generous I must admit. He made a offer before I quoted him a price and I simply said ok. I did a tree several years ago right at the corner of a multi million dollar home. About a 80 foot popular. I charged 125.00 for that one. After I got done the man gave me 150.00 and told me the best price he found before me was 700.00 to take it down and saw it up only. So I know I'm not charging too much. The norm around here for most any tree take down is 500.00 and that's take down only, no clean up. Best part about this job is what I'm about to show you., watch..

Heres another $300.00 in waiting. Soon as they come clean up the other one I'll be back to get that one. Its been a good side job week at that mans house for sure. All toll I'll make 800.00 for 4 trees and maybe 3 hours at most in all of them. Make those saws make some funds for ya fellers, people don't mind paying..

No need to ask how this guy got his multi-million dollar home is there.

And he gave you a $25 tip.

Why you gotta give out all the secrets Thall?

Side jobs are what paid for most of my saws.....lol

Awwwwwwwwwwwwww see there your in the know, smart man there ole boy. Side jobs have been buying me saws for years too along with lord knows what all. Few realize most people that have money aren't getting near a chainsaw, they rather pay and I'm glad of it...

Good point. Had I known he was a muti millioniare my price would have been higher. As usual he walked in the shop one day and asked me about taking a tree down. I told him my usual fee and he was when can ya do it. When I got out to his place and saw his house I thought hmmmmmmmmm coulda got more but I keep my word. I didn't mind. I saw mostly for fun and the tree was a piece of cake. I got to know him quite well and he still comes in the shop now and then to shoot the breeze a bit. Must be nice to be rich and spend your days piddling...

Reason #47 to on occation bring a 12 pack of beer to your saw dealer! , most dealers here , I am not sure they run saws a lot?

Bring me a Folgers coffee and I'll do your tree for free, hehehe. Don't drink beer at all but I love em my Folgers....
