What kind of bar lube do you use?

Bar lube........WD40. This was originally for the purpose of stoning chain. I found that is was very useful for all the hand work that goes into "building a chain. The "stoning" is on the way!!!

That base looks kind of flimsy... Have any problems with it flexing?

1/2 inch plate maybe? . I'm the same way. A little overkill never hurts. Plus it'd double as a boat anchor! Nice job.
