Brad, I do not see eye to eye with you on this- but regardless... Kudos to you for your positive attitude, glad this deal ended up working out ok with you. You seem like you have a good heart, and however you handle your business affairs is YOUR business (and the other party involved). I don't think that I would have aired this one out, but I may have as well if I were in your shoes. I think your intentions were good, and rep to ya for that.

I've been reading everyones post, and gotten a few constuctive PMs as well. There's been a recurring theme. I'm loosing my patience and not treating everyone as I should have. I appologize, and thank everyone that has been strong enough to tell me the truth. Perhaps I'm getting a little burned out. But reguardless, I aim to change my ways. I love this hobby and want to keep it fun. I think a good new motto to post by would be, "If you don't have anything good to say, don't say anything at all". And I'm saying that to myself.
BTW, I had the 084 out this evening and broke it in dropping a 32"-36" Oak. Now that's doing it 084 style It's running great.

I guess in this day in time anymore,,,a person gotta watch out what you get...I been pretty lucky,,,I got alot of good deals from buying things from people on fleabay and c-listy,,but seems like anymore a mans word isnt worth much anymore...To me,,when a man rather make a quick dollar and go to bed and it not bother him if he did someone bad,,there is something wrong with him,,and the shame it will bring down on his children and family years down the road...Ya know,,we wont be on this earth forever,,,but when we have kids,,and grandkids to pass our past down upon ,,,dosent a person's family name and pride mean more than a dollar???

Here's my thing Brad, I'm gonna talk to you like a dad, then get banned.
A couple of years ago you couldn't even tune a saw, I've watched and helped and learned myself along the way. That was fine. But now you seem to be the "premiere saw builder" and "chainsaw guru to the newbies" on the site, which really makes me laugh. Give me a 1.75L of Jack and a dremel and I'll build something that can smoke what you got, but I don't sell it. I know what I build is a joke! I've run saws that people that knew what they were doing built! I've had people ask me to build saws Brad, I won't do it.
I've watched as you had problem after problem with saws you have bought, and I've watched the people of this site step up and help you out time and again. Then I've watched you take that same saw and sell it for a profit.
I saw another member get called out to put up or shut up about what you have done. He put up, I hope you did as well, as I am certain that saw will be gone over with a fine tooth comb to make sure you did as you said you did.
Another tip, saw builders don't use spray paint.
Now, call me what you like, badmouth me, neg rep me, I don't care! I call them like I see them. This has been a "Brad pitty party" long enough. It's time to learn some humility and realize maybe you are only getting screwed as hard as you are handing out sometimes!

Well, I'm sure there are plenty of guys on here who know everything there is to know about a saw. But, since Lake retired Brad is more likely to try and help somebody than most anybody else near as I can tell.
And, if his threads weren't entertaining they wouldn't get umteen responses.
