by the way dennis c.. ive worked with people like u . i spect we probably wood have locked horns most ever wk on the job... then went out an spent the pay onn sat . nite togather.. .i always liked to run with somebody that would be an asset if we found ourself in the wrong place at the wrong time.. i been with some that was good fellas, but thiungs get a little hairy ,,u look around u standing there by u self...

What I said is some people can't handle the heat and are the pussies. I personally said I could. I am not saying the pussies are the problem here. Come to think of it, they aren't pussies at all. They are tired of the bull that Haywood brings in. I haven't read a ton of posts by you. I have been the last several days and you told me all you do is speak the truth. I really don't know about that. I just read the two productive posts that you shot in on the Dennis Threads posts. Worth nothing. Waste of bandwidth. Our resident smart guy dbabcock? Seems to me Bafoon has goodies to offer, Ken Dunn spoke very highly of Dennis Cahoon the other nite. I can understand he likes to joke like the rest of us. He has come to site at an untimely period "guilty by assosiation" the site has changed and he has helped in what ever way you want to look at it. he has helped some people and has created friends not just with me.

Mark, it may just be innocent unfortunate coincidence that the period he came here was untimely.  How many of us recall that he showed up with the Fales clan, and all the trolling they've brought?  I don't recall him ever making an effort to distance himself from it/them.  There has always been a certain amount of trolling/pseudonymity in my time here, but the nature of it took a decidedly unsavory turn with them, and was a large part of why I took a few months off.

I'm sure he's a great guy in real life, but how much has he done to be helpful or constructive <i>here</i>?&nbsp; Not much, it seems.&nbsp; I hate to write anybody off without giving them a fair chance.&nbsp; How long should I wait to find the <i>good</i> in what he's offering to the rest of us in front of the behind-the-scene action?

Hi Mark, I like Dennis, it's too bad most will never get to know him. Although, I have never talked to Fales on the phone I met him at Oroville and recall what a gentleman he was when he shook Robert Andrews hand when Robert won a race. Fales sent me a funny email and called me gay. LOL
Tommy is a bit brash, but I know that in there is a good person.
Anyway, enough with the a$$ kissing.
Robert Andrews is going to Norway on paid invitation in May, so lets wish him luck and hope that they find a 30" stick there for him.

I have never meet Dennis in person but we have talked alot on the phone, we are just alittle to far apart to go over at night to chat,to me he seems to be a good guy and he is smart , he knows his way around a saw.
this is my feelings , i would like to see Dennis stay around because he does offer ideas and his thoughts on things and he makes things happen around here,
Now i know where he is coming from on alot of things cause i have been there also , so pick up the phone and talk to him , you will see he is a nice guy

The topic of this thread "was" someone signed in the site with one of my nicknames last week and Darin banned me. He did put me back on when I phoned him and told him I did not do this. My computer skills are weak to say the least, and I wouldn't or couldn't do it anyway. Some computer dude got me. That's OK, I got a good laugh, and it was a good trick. But if I'm going to get banned I want to do it myself. That's only fair and that's where I had a problem with Dennis G. He wasn't fair and let people get away with all kinds of things if you were in his click. He knew who most of the doubles were. Hopefully Darin doesn't, and let a few get away with this.
Now as far as complaints to Darin go, toughen up! Quit sniveling about every little thing that's said, most of this is inside fun and you aren't getting it anyway. Thicken your shell, if I can take a little ribbing so can you. Also, the name calling thing. I will call a spade a spade. If I don't agree with a guy about race chain or motors I will tell them. I can back up what I say, or I won't say it. I have credentials in chainsaw racing, and have been a logger and timberfaller all my life, so I do have enough experience to express my opinion in many posts. [Not tree climbing]
I've heard I don't contribute, well I say, you must not want to build a race chain very badly if you think I haven't given you some good ideas on how to build one. I gave plenty of info, and told you to do things that one of the so-called chain experts said didn't work. You have to try these things to have a real opinion, and the funny thing is I compete in major races, not closed shows and podunk backyard races, and win! Remember, this thread is about who signed in as Haywood Jablowme. Dennis Cahoon
