I thought Ian, aka: Haywood Haywire was riding with Dustytools.

Hey Eric how's the weather up there should I bring the waders. Rained like he!! here the last few days, and still getting some today and some forecast for tomorrow.

Hah, as I was typing this it just started to pour here. Oh well off to the Stihler.

I forgot, I also have a 16" 3/8 .050 62dl bar for the 76 also. But you or someone else would need to bring a matching 62-64dl 3/8 .050 chain. All I have is a race and practice chain for that bar.

Does anyone have a 3/8 050 62DL full chisel they can bring to run this on Cuser's 76 with a 7T-8T, The 64DL was only needed for running 9T on my 84, so either should work. If you are bringing chain, please let me know so I can pack bar.

weather today was sunny now cloudy.+

Tomorrow is forecasted for 30 % chance of showers..But the cutting area is tight.. Heck our fields are wet but tight. I was out in one in the jeep today, and I did not slip a tire.So if it showers a little bit we get wet.I have been wet before for lesser fun.If it gets to pouring down we can come back to my house or go to the polebarn if we get forced in doors.
So come on rain or shine. I have enough cooking for an army.
I have a 3 gallon jug of sassafras tea brewed.I have a six gallon jug of sugar tea. and I will throw the coffee pot by the fire tomorrow. Someone can bring doughnuts for breakfast though.

Cool, not bringing waders or rain gear.
My dad used to take us out and we would dig up the roots and made sas tea. Haven't had that since i was a kid.
Did you dig the root to make yours?

I did not dig the roots

I pulled the whole tree up with the tractor..I also had some that the loggers dozed over. But I generally just grub up some 2-3 inch sapplings for my roots.

Hope you guys have fun tomorrow. I know it'll be tough without me there:cheers: I'll be in Hobe Sound, FL for the weekend with friends and family. Then back to Orlando for work again next week. I fly home next Thursday night.

Somebody else bring a compression gauge please, mine seems to have went haywire(maybe) , (No Pun intended Ian) want to compare readings. I will bring a good stopwatch and tach.

I should have a good gauge

I will just have to locate it.. and the hose for it.
That is not a bad idea to compare how our saws are doing as far as wear.
