Hi, Just a note to let you guys know we've loaded a box of goodies, so make sure Eric shares. :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange:
I will be in Louisville from Wed. till Sat. at the Expo and I'll take some pictures of the new saws. Hope yall all have a good and safe time. Tony

Start Time

I was thinking around Nine.. But if later in the morning works best for you all that is fine too.Just show up ,when you get here we can drop back and regroup. I have a few logs reserved for just timed cuts. They are not turned but are fairly consistent in size.
As far as limbing saws go. I have bunch of tops drug up. So we can put some timed cuts and let people try various saws.
Any cookies we cut will either be hauled home to my wood boiler or tossed into the fire at the log jam.
Bring any saws you wish.
I have a couple I am wanting to unload. I have a 36cc Jonsered That I do not use. I have that electric start Montgomery Wards (rebadged Remington) that I have never even put fuel into.
Shipper50 Has a really sweet 034 stihl that is up for sale too 20 inch bar and new chain.
Hey Tony you might as well head up Saturday you are less than 2 hours from this GTG. I promise to share the goodies, and we all appreciate your gifts.

Could all of you that are forsure coming PM Me

So I will make sure to have plenty to eat and drink.
Need a ballpark number, Thanks.

I'll be there, dang got to get moving about 6 in the AM to make it,o-dark thirty to speak.

I hope somebody brings a 40-50 cc saw so I can see how my 2800 Poulan fairs for time.I kind of tweeked it a tad bit. Some folks on another portion of the net said I can now claim the title as "builder" ,woopie do.Al is a builder,Al is a builder,la te dah de dah.:dizzy: :hmm3grin2orange:

Al I can bring a stock 500 and stock 5000 and a pretty wild gas 5000.
You bringing that piped mini mac? Wonder if I should put the pipe on the 5000 for the gtg.

shooot, this sounds like fun, I'd loe to bring my ole 1-51 and run with some old beasts. LIke to see Als toys as well. Unfortunately I have something else already scheduled. Its a good one though, taking down a 52" DBH oak on th e27th. Been waiting almost a year to get at it!

You bringing that piped mini mac?
But of course I am,Most likely the only one in the world .Fastest remains to be seen,a big boy's little toy.I'm really going to grow up some time, just not ready quite yet.Good grief,I'm dang near 60 too.;)

Gotta work

It saddens me to have to say it, but I will have to work that day. All attempts to get out of working have failed miserably. Considering all the things that have gone on in my life recently, I really could have used the fun and fellowship. I sincerely hope there is a next time. Eric, you are a wonderful host and I bent every effort to make it happen and, as W.C. Fields said "I come from a long line of effort benders.", but it is just not to be this time. And I was so looking forward to putting computeruser's Homey 200 in its place. *sigh*

Al in Cincinnati

Well from one Al to another, you are going to miss it but pics will likely be on this site as well as others.Of course under penalty of expulsion I can't tell of the others,ya know.;)

Never the less a stock 125 Mac running an 18" open roller nose bar with an 11 tooth .404 ,something you don't see every day, plus a souped up Poulan and as a special treat the famous or infamous piped mini Mac.Of course there will be faster saws but that's the fun of it.Maybe a later date for you,eh.:)

I was a little delinquent in shipping it back.. But Tony has had it a few months.. But I will admit I got lazy and had it for a while.. a long while..Sorry Tony.. I will understand if you do not entrust me with it again.LOL

Did you get all this rain there? My area is flooding out of the creek banks for a short period today.

Eric, I'm happy just to be a small part, We've got you hooked up and everything shipped FedEx today. I wish I had time to drive on up from Louisville but at this time it looks like I'll be busy. Thanks Again, Tony

not sure how much total..

But it sure beats smoke and fire any darned day.
The area we will be playing in is just off the road. and I feel by then if the rains hold off it will be ok.,. Calling for a slight chance of Showers for saturday.. But hell they change weather forecast more often than I change socks.

Unfortunately I have a scheduling conflict that has come up. My best friends daughter has been diagnosed with a very rare brain tumor and we are having a cornhole tourney for her between alot of the local FD's. So I wont be able to attend.

Hey Al???

Al, I just De-tuned all my saws and put stihl round chisel RS, RSC, RSK, on all but 2 saws. I ran out of round chisel and had to put a square work safety chain on my 66. Dropped everything a couple grand off gtg race set ups. So it ought to be interesting. Dang 84 was 4 stroking at 12.5K-13K.
I am going to bring 3ci Partner 5000 gas race saw with a stock square practice chain, Stock Partner 5000 with Jred recoil LOL, 2250, 357, 375, 7900, 66, 84. Most I put 16", a 18" and a 21" mounted Al. Think they will fit with bars on?
I trimmed down the numbers some, Dont figure anyone would want to test my little tree trimmers.
Barring this cold kicking my azz by Friday evening, I will give you a cal and get things worked out.

I have them all running about as good as can be expected except the 2100 Homey and a Poulan 2800 that I tweeked.

Carved out a muffler on an 048,no little pipe though, not taking it to the rod and custom show,ya know.
