ya gotta be fast. the right sheep herder can flock a herd of sheep faster than TTH can eat a #7.

Whatttttttttttttttt, you serious. If he can flock the whole flock in the time I eat a No.7 he's pretty flocking fast,LOLOL

ya ain't never seen a lonely sheep herder have ya?

I knew a sheep flocker once , his name was Woodie, far as know he's still a sheep flocker, tell him I said so,:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:

That flocking Tommy beat me to all the flocking jokes.

If your filter is flocked, it's probably flocked for good. The flocking stuff you are talking about wouldn't be any flocking good for your flocking filter, because it is flocking designed for a flocking flat surface, not for some flocking thing that has to let the flocking air pass through.

Like the man said. Just say flock it and buy a new flocking filter. They aren't that flocking expensive.

Great idea on the panty hose, I'm gonna raid the wife's stash and use some over my mower's canister intakes and see how it will work on them.
Rep for the good idea. Even on saws it might be a money saver, I think the last one I bought from Stihl wa around 15.00.

that is cheap. I paid over $30.00 for an 028 air filter last year. :dizzy:

Renewing air filters

I found that sometimes you can wire brush all of the old material off from the screen mesh and then fill the filter with a small piece of fiber filter (like the kind you can buy for a furnace). I got my filter material from some scrap they were throwing out at work.

I just posted these pics in the poulan thread, but this is what I did:

I scrubbed all of the rotten material off, and cut a piece of filter material to fit. For some reason the older poulans came with a filter that can be opened up. On other saws, you would probably have to pack it under the filter.

This is the filter on the saw. It looks like it came that way, and it filters pretty well, and it was free, so it's a-ok with me!

Those prices look very high, considering that you are in the US! :jawdrop:

Those flocking filters are high unless you get a hook up. Sometimes you get flocked....The last time I bought a few from my local guy they were $20ea. I think. I got some from a member here for alot cheaper, thanks Parris! When I go see that flocker Tommy to pick up my 261, I have a box of assorted parts ordered just to save some $$.

I dont know what was so flocking funny about asking about reflocking the flocking. lol

Just figured Id ask, usually there is somebody with a answer on here.

:)
