The paint on the GB bars does seem to wear off fairly fast, what that means in the greater scheme of chainsawdom I have no clue.
They are a bit heavier, compared side to side a 36" Husky roller nose and a 36" GB cn40. There is a noticeable difference in weight, but have not put them on a scale to get exact numbers.
I quartered some 62" trunk sections from a Silver Maple this weekend, and the GB Bars were trouble free through 4 gallons of mix.
