friendly local tree service dropped this white oak and hickory off. I only saw the first 2 logs, when I got home I saw the rest, have some work to do

nice score!!! when i tree service drops off logs like that i usually give em a few bucks... if they bring me 4ft dia, half rotted out, soft wood with metal in it. i only say one thing, "THANK YOU!!!" i've learned its better to keep those guys really happy. for future deliveries.

neighbors are a little scared but cool I sell them good seasoned stuff for their fireplaces..i wont leave that pile sitting there for long

Nice score, and I see you can start cutting right away. The half pile of logs that I got left are buried under about 2 feet of snow & ice. Going to be awhile...supposed to get another foot of snow tonight.
