Well if harassing someone is fine then I should also be able to put your idol in the trashcan and not hear you crying about it too, but that clearly isn't the reality of the situation is it? If you can't handle it the burden is on you to leave rather than spamming this thread and crying to moderators surely? Your words not mine

You're really hung up on this "idol" thing, aren't you? I would challenge you to find even one, single, solitary statement where I ever idolized, defended, or praised ANY political candidate. Your grasp of reality doesn't appear to be very firm.
And I don't cry to moderators- again, I've never mentioned them, other than saying that they can ban any of us they see fit. Their house, their rules.
I'd say all of us on here are handling your deranged posts just fine.

Now, more in line with the topic of this thread:

Does anyone on here have any experience with Portage and Main outdoor wood boilers? I am looking at either one of them, or a Legend? If so, how picky are they on wood quality?

Hmm, so you think you have proven something, by pulling the one thing I said about moderators, that I just pointed out having said about moderators? Thanks for proving my point. If you're going to quote posts perhaps you should quote the entire statement:

Sure you never mentioned moderators, except that one time when you mentioned moderators. Gotcha

You have done more to shred your own credibility with your own words than any of us could possibly do for you.
My fourteen year old high schools students thankfully have much better reading comprehension skills than you have displayed on this thread, and that is truly saying something.

They also build some nice little rocket stoves in class.

P&M is a high quality stove from what I've heard.
I don't have direct experience with them though but will add this.
Many of my friends and family all have wood boilers and all of us agree on this.
To achieve maximum efficiency and BTUs, seasoned wood is the choice, ESPECIALLY the high efficiency " EPA " stoves.
With my 12 yr old CB 5036, it has no issue keeping fire with green wood.
The problem is that the creosote build up serves as insulation on the interior walls, water jacket and this alone increases wood consumption.
Roughly 10 years ago my maintenance supervisor bought a new high flutent EPA stove and had to shut it down because of the required cleaning while burning unseasoned firewood.

I generally try to burn good seasoned wood, as it does heat much better with less maintenance. I just don't want something that WON'T burn lower quality wood. A friend had a stove, can't remember the brand, but it wouldn't burn anything that wasn't top quality worth a hoot. Stuff that will burn fine in my woodstove wouldn't burn in it.

The P&M that I looked at when I was at the Southern Farm Show last year was a really nice stove, I liked it a lot. They just don't have much of a presence around here, so I'd love to know more about them. The Legend stoves were about as close to my Dad's old school Taylor as you can get. Taylor is out of business now and not making stoves anymore, but Legend is pretty much a clone, and even made close to where the Taylor was made. I looked at Crown Royal as well, but I didn't like them as well as the Portage and Main, and they were more expensive to boot.

Now back on topic when is it the feds are coming after my smoke blowing boiler?
They aren’t even if your municipality decided to ban outdoor wood boilers they would stop all future installs . Not go after stoves already in use. Only way around it is if you put it in without a permit . Which may or not pertain to your local laws . Here you need a permit and an inspection since your doing plumbing and electrical work

Had my smoke dragon for 45 years, plan on having it another 45 years.
The biggest joke was the catalytic convertor stoves. I knew a few people that had big problems with these stoves. My previous big old Nashua N24 from the late 70's, when burning properly, didn't smoke very much and burned off any creosote that might try to form in my chimney. My present Osburn stove does the same as the Nashua did when operating at the proper temperature. I have never had to clean my chimney flue with a brush. Every 5 years I will move my stove, pull down the chimney damper plate and vacuum up around the chimney opening. I have never had a chimney fire.
