It's always a good idea to have several saws.
I only own saws that parts are readily available.
For cutting firewood and avoiding a chiropractor, i stay put with 18" bar and 50cc unless your extreme and a professional grade saw is justified.
I sharpen, tune and rebuild saws as a side business and see MANY hrs of use from quality homeowner saws like Stihl, Husqvarna and Echo.
Twist my arm, I'd probably recommend an Echo CS490.
People bring me saws all the time ranting that the saw is junk and gets hot, bar even smokes
A sharp chain will prolong the life of the saw .
A dull chain will run a professional saw in the ground.
