Which is more prevalent,the German or the Czech?I'm German & French myself.My ex once told me that I was more stubborn than a million donkeys (with a Russian accent of course,Lol).Diagnosing any saw can be quite perplexing at times.

I have known a lot of Germans over my work career and going with just plain stubborn. My sister in-law is a lovely, kind person but has a passive, but effective stubbornness.
50% Czech, maybe 33% German, some Swedish and English back there as well.

Back on track, this is the first 360 now good to go.
This one will be assembled and put into the display.
This one has really great compression so I will make whatever repairs are needed and put it up for sale. The bar is about 22" effective cutting length, probably about the limit for a 3.5 In3 saw.

#2 is a good runner and oils very well. It actually balances nicely with the 24" bar and seems to pull it O.K. buried in oak.
#3 is ready to go on display. Don't tell anyone but I didn't have a third boot so it won't actually run. I did squirt a little mix down the intake to make sure it had spark and if I ever felt like it I could install a boot and make it a runner.

On a somewhat related note, where can I find a few clutch drums, bearings, and the spacer/inner race for the 360 type saws?

I have a selection of some inner races for clutch bearings, if you can find the measurement I'd be glad to hunt one up for you mark.

Anyone know what years they made the super xl/xl-12 in this paint scheme? Thanks. Buddy picked this up for me at a antique shop for 20 bucks. Runs good. You can tell its been maintained. Razor sharp chain, newer sprocket, brand new air filter, and a clean air box. Don't find em like that too much anymore. 
My guess is early to mid 70’s
interested in a complete runner?

Mark,if you want NOS parts for that 360 Bob Johnson might just have some.Trying to het a hold of him on the other hand is a feat in itself.He's MIA again for the last 2 weeks.
