Cut a white pine today, old pasture pine....32" across the small end of the 12 foot butt log . The 357 is a heck of a saw. Wish the anti-vibe / motor mounts were stronger, you can rip it apart if you're not easy with it in a pinch.

Thats a nice pine. Bet it was fun limbing.

Exactly, a pine that never had to grow UP for light, so it grew OUT. It had to be 100' feet tall though, it was ooooooold. Guy in the trailer home it shaded says he has turned his thermostat down by 5 degrees and the place remains the same temps inside as before..
