my dude is right....up until last summer he was doing the cutting and i was doing the splitting, because even though i love saws, i fear them and respect them because injury is very probable and ...

Clever girl. Don't listen to these rednecks here that only get excited by big saws.:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: Use what you feel comfortably and safe with.
I had a 136 before, and can't say anything bad about it, worked really well for me, untill I used a MS200. Seems to me that you both cut quite some wood together, and the more expensive MS200 would really have been ideal for you : lightweight, good balance, and attractive power.
But if you change the chain as some suggested, the 210 can work out well.
Good luck, and be safe.

I believe the Husky 339xp is entering the US market now, and it may be the best option in the "ultra-light" class, costing less than the MS200 into the bargain....;) :biggrinbounce2:

So ya'll know, she's buyin me a 7900 for christmas too. Aint' that a ?????. Sometimes I sits and I thinks, Sometimes I just sits...

Still not sure how I landed this one, but either way, I'll just enjoy it till i wake up eh?

Congrats on the great wife. Mine is pretty supportive of my rather large tool budget (saws are only a small part), but I am careful to meter out my new saw purchases a little.

I think in part she is supportive because she figures it gives her extra points for her own expenditures....

The 7900 will spoil you for other saws, you'll see.

two weeks ago my husband bought me a Husky 137....i loved that little saw....but then today he told me that we would be better to get a stihl, so today we went to a stihl/husky dealer and traded the Husky 137 in for a MS210....

Just curious, but what do you use those small saws for?

I have used a couple of small ones, but feel that the larger saws that my husband SawTroll has are safer and more comfortable to use, and of course they cut faster. :rockn: :rockn:

The anti-vibe on the 353 and 361 are really great, even the old Jonsered 621 isn't too bad.

Heated handles are also nice large parts of the year up here......:rockn:

Happy cutting! :D

They make them for Home owners with lots of patience.

For light trimming (especially up a tree) in green branches in the 1 to 3 inch diameter range, anyone that hasn't tried a good quality pull cut tri teeth arborist hand saw, you are in for a pleasant surprise. 2 or 3 quick pulls and it's done. Saw slides back into its scabbard and you are good to go. I have 2 sizes that I would not be without.

Only downside is that if mistreated, they are not easily resharpened.
