xxHow much was the rental for that bucket crane thing? Did you have controls in the bucket, or did an operator move you around? :Monkey:

It was all done with hand signals.

Easy peasy japanesey!

I'm usually running the crane...so we may be comeing from different perspectives, although i like the headsets when im in the tree as well. But im running the crane 98% of the time now

No way man....way to dangerous..but i would have never know of the bucket crane alternative....first time i have seen one used...I would use two cranes as well, one for makeing the picks, and one to move me around the tree to rig and make cuts. I was impressed with the bucket crane, very cool, no need to climb

What cemetery was that? I don't think I have ever seen a branch tear out so much trunk tissue like that one did.

impresive removal,i looked at a tree today 2k just to fell it.nightmareish

Here's a pic of the wall... damage in the foreground was done by sub... The far hole was caused by storm damage, but sub knoecked loose large section of bricks to the left of that hole.. Stump is barely visible behind "weeds", to left of lampost.

Gee whiz Murph! They walked away from that damage? Sounds like a sherriff's report for vandalism/property damage would have been a way to get the guy to call his insurance (if he really had it).

I work as a sub a lot. If I damage something, I carry insurance. I am weary of using other companies just for the story you presented. It goes as a mark against you and you were not the lousy operator! I hate when folks walk away on a responsibility..
